As I write this, I’ve already come back from the trip I fantasised about for 10 years: I originally wanted to publish something about how much this holiday meant for me before leaving, but life had other plans and the days prior my departure were so incredibly chaotic and filled to the brim with things to do, I simply did not have enough time to sit down at my desk and put into words something so deep.
I’ll be transparent now too: I still don’t know what to say and to the people in my life who have asked me how it went, I’ve told the same thing… I need (and will take) some time to really ponder this whole experience and I promise I’ll share it (because I really want to) with you as soon as I’m ready.
In the meantime, I thought it would be nice to share some highlights from this wonderful (because it really was) trip, via another favourite means of communication: photographs.
